From TeeWiki
0.5.0 was released on the 13th of January 2009. It was a major release with many new functions, many aesthetic changes and a significant overhaul of the existing situation. It quickly gained a significant amount of fame for it's long awaited improvements and critique due to it's negative impact on latency and game stability. One month after the release this has resulted in a division between players who quickly moved on to 0.5.0 and 0.5.1, and players who remained at 0.4.3.
