Requirements for clan pages
If you want to add a clan to the Teewiki, make sure it meets the basic requirements. This will prevent the creation of a large number of clan-pages that don't have a solid perspective of their function and goal. It will maintain the high standards of quality the Teewiki tries to aim at. If you can answer these questions however, you're free to make a page for your clan.
- What game modes does your clan focus on? (vanilla, instagib, run)
- Does the clan already have a solid team of long term members? (this will prevent continuous editing of the clan members list)
- Does the clan have a personal logo, slogan, skins, or other unique content which might be relevant?
- Does the clan have a good 24/7 online website or forum you can link to?
- Can you write a history of your clan? (for example tournaments it took part in, clanwars, etc.)
- The most important question: Are you or other members of your clan prepared to provide long term updates on their clanpage?
About userpages
As a regular editor of the Teewiki you're free to edit your own userpage to your own wishes. Next to the official rules there are a few extra things to know though:
- Please remember that any personal information you write on your userpage will be freely accessible by anyone.
- Try to keep your userpage clean and easily accessible to other users. It's main function is to provide a way in which other can contact you, so accessibility is more important then clean looks.
- Promotion of your custom content is allowed, but only to a degree. Teewiki is no database for every tee skin, game skin and mod but you may add a few images of your creations. Link to your forum topic or personal website if you want people to gain access to all your content.
