Run

Run is a Teeworlds mod that focuses on a single-player mode where you play to get from the start to the end with the fastest time. There are often lots of different moves you have to make, and a very common one is the grenade jump. The earliest maps were often pretty easy compared to the new ones. The run mod also tends to make use of death tiles and teleport tiles to make it even harder to finish a map.
Run and race tend to conflict, they are both names of the same thing, but the original race-mod was something other.
With the release of Teeworlds 0.5.0 a new race mod was released by rajh and Redix on the 18th of January 2009. This one was updated with the release of 0.5.1 with minor changes to the cheat protection system.
Tunable options
- sv_gametype race - enables race mod
- sv_reserved_slots - number of slots reserved for "special ppl" (default 0)
- sv_reserved_slots_pass - password to enter as "special ppl"
- sv_regen - sets regeneration (default 0 ; 1-50)
- sv_strip - enables or disables keeping weapon after teleporting (default 0)
- sv_infinite_ammo - enables or disables infinite ammo (default 0)
- sv_teleport - enables or disables teleportation (default 0)
- sv_teleport_grenade - enables or disables teleport of grenades (default 0)
- sv_teleport_kill - a tee can teleport another one to death (default 0)
- sv_rocket_jump_damage - enables or disables grenade jump damage (default 1)
- sv_pickup_respawn - time before a pickup respawn (default 1 ; 0-10)
- sv_rank_site - site to see ranks (default "none")
- sv_speedup_mult - boost power by multiplication (default 10 ; 1-100)
- sv_speedup_add - boost power (default 0 ; -100-100)
- sv_jumper_add - jumper power (default 0 ; -100-100)
- tune player_hooking - enables or disables player hooking (default 0)
- tune player_collision - enables or disables player collision (default 0)
Admin commands
- teleport - teleports one player to the other (usage: teleport <id1> <id2>)
- teleport_to - teleports one tee to any position (usage: teleport_to <id> <x-coordiante> <y-coordiante>)
- get_pos - finds out the position of a tee (usage: get_pos <id>)
Chat commands
- .info - infos about the mod
- .mods - shows the used mods
- /rank - shows the rank as server message, everyone can see it
- /top5 x - shows the top 5 as server message, only u can see it, x stands for a number from which place the top 5 shall begin
