Editing clanpages

I think we need to get a consensus how much outside editing we allow on clanpages.

1. How much uniqueness do we allow a clanpage to have?
2. Are non-clanmembers allowed to:
- fix typos?
- remove non-factual, un-encyclopedic information?
- add factual data?
3. Do clanmembers have more authority on their own clanpage then non-clanmembers?

Think this will give shape to a policy which in time allows an improvement of quality.

In my opinion the teewiki is a collaborative tool, so everyone is free to add quality content to all topics. And no one should have more authority than others, on any page. I admit its going to be hard with all those clan pages, but if people remain friendly, and write useful facts about their clans, and not how much they uber-own the rest of us, it wont me much of a trouble.

Well-known clans

We need to decide wether to remove a lot of clans from this list or remove the list completely. Imo the last option is the best, since it's hard deciding if a clan is famous or not. --Some 09:52, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I think that fame indeed isn't the right value on which inclusion depends. Either we remove the list and stick to a Category section or we create some kind of template which requires useful information only. Then we can allow clans who manage to comply to this template, and thereby offer a useful contribution to the Teewiki. I'm talking mainly about facts here, so for example the History of the clan, it's members, etc. This removes the subjective POV there is for "famous" and creates an objective value on which clans can be judged. This would also keep an opening for less "famous" clans as long as they can give good information on the items the template requires. Azon 12:26, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
